Pretty excited to see The Perks of Being a Wallflower when it comes out in September.  Also, I like that they used the same colour as the book for the movie poster. Ca-ute!

Re-reading one of my favourite books: The Tent by Margaret Atwood. It is such a good read, and it’s particularly good in exam time because it’s a collection of fictional essays. This makes it easy to pick up and put down. I highly recommend it, especially for something a little different.

Next on my hit list: The Illustrated Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Illustrated by Dame Darcy.
My mum bought this copy of Jane Eyre for me a while ago and I’ve been dying to read it but until now it’s just been sitting on my bookshelf looking pretty. I’ve never read this book so I’m pretty excited to crack into it.

“Why do people have to be this lonely? What’s the point of it all? Millions of people in this word, all of them yearning, looking to others to satisfy them, yet isolating themselves. Why? Was the Earth put here just to nourish human loneliness?”
